The Christian County Sheriff’s Office invites citizens to a FREE Neighborhood Watch Training on November 14th, 2024, from 6pm-9pm at 701 West 7th Street in Hopkinsville!
Neighborhood Watch: A Proven Crime Prevention Strategy
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, active neighborhood watch programs have been shown to reduce crime rates by 16-20% in participating communities. Recognizing the critical role residents play in maintaining public safety, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office is committed to fostering a collaborative approach to crime prevention. By partnering law enforcement expertise with engaged citizens, we aim to create safer, more secure communities free from violence, substance abuse and theft. Our FREE Neighborhood Watch training empowers participants with essential tools and strategies to contribute effectively and safely to crime prevention initiatives.
