An ongoing investigation led by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Anti Crime Unit resulted in the arrest of four Hopkinsville residents and the seizure of illegal narcotics, guns, and cash.
On Wednesday afternoon, Investigators served two search warrants simultaneously at residences in the 200 block of Dogwood Drive and the 1700 block of South Virginia Street in Hopkinsville. During the search, deputies arrested four Hopkinsville residents and seized several kinds of pills, methamphetamine, marijuana, paraphernalia consistent with trafficking illegal drugs, large amounts of cash, and three firearms.
43-year-old Christy Smith-Rojas and 37-year-old Robert Lee Bacon were arrested at the Virginia Street address and charged with the following:
- Trafficking Methamphetamine
- Trafficking Opiates
- Trafficking Amphetamines
- Trafficking-Drug Unspecified
- Trafficking Narcotics Within 1000 feet of a School
- Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon
- Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon
36-year-old Joseph Lee King was arrested at the Dogwood Drive address and charged with the following:
- Trafficking Methamphetamine
- Trafficking Opiates
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Prescription Drug not in Proper Container
During the investigation, authorities also arrested 36-year-old Angela Sutton for three probation violation and two failure to appear warrants.
All suspects were lodged in the Christian County Jail.
