Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle shortly after midnight on Friday and arrested two Hopkinsville residents for gun and drug charges.
According to a CCSO arrest citation, Sgt. John Quarles stopped a vehicle in the area of the 500 block of Grand Orchard Dr. Sgt Quarles observed what appeared to be methamphetamine in the center console, in plain sight.
There were two occupants in the vehicle, neither of which claimed ownership of the suspected methamphetamine. A further search yielded more suspected meth, marijuana, pills, drug paraphernalia, and multiple firearms. The two individuals were both arrested for the contraband. Further investigation revealed both subjects are convicted felons.
The driver, 40-year-old Trinity K. Grennier, was charged with the following:
- Trafficking Meth
- Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree
- Prescription Not in Proper Container
- Carrying a Concealed Weapon
The passenger, 45-year-old Daniel S. Allison, was charged with the following:
- Trafficking in Meth
- Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon
- Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
- Carrying a Concealed Weapon
Both occupants were transported to the Christian County Jail.
