Afternoon Pursuit Leads to Multiple Charges for Hopkinsville Man

Christian County Sheriff's OfficeDeputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s arrested a Hopkinsville after he fled from authorities yesterday morning.

According to a CCSO arrest citation, Deputy Clevin Robinson attempted to stop a vehicle on Interstate 24 at around 11:30 am for traffic infractions. The vehicle failed to stop and led deputies on a short pursuit before the driver crashed out at around the 91 mile marker. 25-year-old Nekoreale Thomas was taken into custody from the scene and charged with the following:

  • Speeding
  • Fleeing or Evading  Police 1st Degree
  • Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree
  • No Registration Plates
  • No Insurance
  • Operating on a Suspended License
  • Criminal Mischief 1st Degree
  • Improper Display of a Registration Plates
  • Possession of Marijuana
