Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office recovered a motorcycle stolen out of Paducah after a late afternoon pursuit on Tuesday.
According to a CCSO citation, Sgt. John Quarles attempted to stop a Yamaha motorcycle for no registration plate at around 5:45 pm on Russellville Rd. According to Sgt. Quarles, the vehicle refused to stop and led deputies on a short pursuit. The driver, 32-year-old Joshua Michael Justice of Elkton, KY, laid the motorcycle down and attempted to flee on foot. Deputies were able to apprehend Justice and take him into custody. Further investigation determined that the 2017 Yamaha was stolen out of Paducah, KY.
Justice was charged with the following:
- Speeding
- Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree
- Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree
- Reckless Driving
- Improper Passing
- Receiving Stolen Property
- No Registration Plates
- No Insurance
- Failure to Use Proper Signal
Justice was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
