CCSO Anti-Crime Unit Arrests Hopkinsville Man During Search Warrant

Investigators with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Crime Unit arrested a Hopkinsville man after serving a search warrant on Butler Rd Friday evening.

According to an arrest citation from Detective David King, investigators were serving a search warrant at a home in the 2000 block of Butler Rd., looking for 32-year-old Bradley Brown, who had active warrants. During the search, Brown attempted to elude capture by hiding under a bed, covering himself with a bean bag. Authorities located methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia in the home, as well as a minor that was in the residence with Brown and the illegal contraband. Brown was charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st (Meth)
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st (Drug Unspecified)
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Endangering the Welfare of a Minor

Brown was transported to the Christian County Jail.
