Saturday Morning Pursuit Results in Felony Charges

Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested two Hopkinsville residents Saturday morning (10/31), after a brief pursuit in Christian County.

Christian County Sheriff's Office Kentucky drug arrestAccording to an arrest report, Deputy Koehler attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding on Newstead Rd. Saturday morning in the area of the 13000 block. The vehicle fled after Deputy Koehler activated his emergency lights and was later stopped in the 7000 block of Newstead Rd. A search of the vehicle yielded multiple items of drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine.

Koehler states that 23-year-old Haley B. Pool and 21-year-old Lucas M. Lauritson were arrested out of the vehicle and charged with the following:

 

  • Fleeing and Evading 1st Degree
  • Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Meth)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Pool was also charged with No Operator’s License. Both subjects were transported to the Christian County Jail.
