Deputies arrested a Hopkinsville woman Thursday after a single vehicle accident on Pilot Rock Rd.
According to an arrest report from Deputy Clevin Robinson, 34-year-old Tonya Nicole McCain of Hopkinsville was involved in a single vehicle crash in the 5000 block of Pilot Rock Rd. in the morning hours of March 12th. While McCain was being treated for injuries at the scene, Deputies smelled an odor of suspected marijuana on her person. Deputies located suspected marijuana and suspected methamphetamine in her jacket and determined that McCain was driving while intoxicated.
McCain was treated for her injuries at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, transported to the Christian County Jail and charged with the following:
- DUI
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine)
