January 16th, 2020: Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office were in the area of Butler Rd. yesterday (01/16) looking for a wanted subject on a warrant.
According to an arrest report from Deputy Clevin Robinson, he spotted an individual walking on Woodbine Street in Hopkinsville. When Deputy Robinson attempted to make contact with him, the subject began to run on foot away from officers. Deputy Robinson chased the subject and caught him in the 300 block of Woodbine Street. The individual caught was not the original wanted person Deputies were looking for, however during apprehension it was determined that he also had three active warrants and was recently featured on the Christian County Sheriff’s Office “Most Wanted” section of the website.
30-year-old Joshua Wayne Lee of Hopkinsville was arrested and charged with:
- Fleeing and Evading Police 2nd Degree
Lee was also served with three outstanding warrants for:
- 2 counts of Contempt of Court
- Escape 2nd Degree
Lee was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
