March 11th, 2019: Deputies arrested a man with a gun after being dispatched to a disturbance on Gospel Peace Rd. Sunday, March 11th. According to the arrest citation, Deputy Burgess arrived at the disturbance and witnessed a male, 28-year-old Richard Spain, pointing a gun at another males face. Deputies ordered Spain to the ground and placed him under arrest, without incident, for the following:

Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree
Tampering w/Physical Evidence
Carrying a Concealed Weapon
Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place (1st and 2nd Offense)

After his arrest, Deputies say Spain attempted to hide spent shell casings and one live .38 caliber round in the seat of the Deputy’s cruiser. Spain was transported from the scene and lodged in the Christian County Jail. End of Release Chris M.
