Authorities say they were contacted by a passerby who observed what they thought was a body lying on the side of the road in the wood line on Deason Lane, approximately 1/4 mile from Antioch Church Rd. at around 7:12 P.M.. When deputies arrived shortly after, they discovered the body and contacted the Christian County Coroner. Deputy Coroner Zach Lamb responded and pronounced the victim dead. It is unclear at this time how long the victim has been at this location.

Investigators are currently processing the scene to determine the identity of the victim and what led to his death. No arrests have been made at time of release.
