The Christian County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest at Hopkinsville High School today (01/25) while investigating another incident along with The Hopkinsville Police Department.
 
Investigators arrested a 17-year-old  male student from a classroom at Hopkinsville High School at around 11:00 AM after officers entered the classroom to speak with another student about an earlier incident.
Reports indicate that the student became disruptive and combative during this investigation and was taken into custody by law enforcement officials.
 
After further investigation into the matter, the student was charged with:
 
-Tampering with Physical Evidence
-Hindering Prosecution 2nd Degree
-Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree
 
He was taken to the Justice Center where he is being processed by the Court Designated Workers Office at time of release.
