Date: March 10th, 2016 Time: 12:32 pm Type of Incident: Criminal Mischief/ Burglary 3rd/Use of Weapon of Mass Destruction Location: John Rives Spur/ Long Pond Rd. Persons Involved: Daniel L. Kordis/ Ethan D. English ********************************************************************************* Details of Incident: On the night of February 25th, suspects broke into several barns on John Rives Spur belonging to Garnett Farms and damaged property belonging to the Garnett family including a pickup truck, and two tractors. On February 26th, the following evening, suspects using homemade explosive devices destroyed three mailboxes in the area of Long Pond Rd. Evidence at the scene indicated that the bombs were made using PVC pipe and gunpowder. Det. Sgt. Mark Reid was able to trace the evidence back to two individuals, one from Clarksville and the other, a soldier from Ft. Campbell. With the assistance of the Criminal Investigations Division from Ft. Campbell, Sgt. Reid was able to interview the suspects and obtained full confessions from one and a partial confession from the other. Suspect 1: Daniel L. Kordis Charged with: -Burglary 3rd -Criminal Mischief 1st -Use of a Weapon of Mass Destruction -Criminal Mischief 3rd -Possession of a Destructive Device Suspect 2: Ethan D. English Charged with: -Burglary 3rd -Criminal Mischief 1st -Use of a Weapon of Mass Destruction -Criminal Mischief 3rd -Possession of a Destructive Device Kordis was arrested on March 9th and English was arrested on March 10th.
