March 2nd, 2025, Christian County, KY – On Sunday night, deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to Jennie Stuart Medical Center regarding a report of an assault. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with an adult female victim who had sustained multiple injuries.

Following an investigation, deputies determined that the incident stemmed from an altercation at a residence in Christian County. Evidence collected at the scene, along with statements provided by the victim, led to the arrest of 35-year-old Dimitri L. McClelland. The suspect was taken into custody without incident at a residence on Greenville Rd. a short time later and transported to the Christian County Jail.
McClelland has been charged with Assault 2nd Degree (Domestic Violence) and Strangulation 2nd Degree.
