Thursday, November 21, 2024, Christian County, KY: At approximately 1:01 p.m., detectives from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Crime Unit and Detective Section executed a search warrant at a residence in Christian County.
The warrant was obtained as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation initiated earlier this year. Upon entering the residence, detectives made contact with 37-year-old Anthony Mixon, who was detained by patrol units. After being read his rights, Mixon denied knowledge of any narcotics or stolen property on the premises. He also acknowledged being on probation and disclosed his previous charges.
A thorough search of the garage yielded several incriminating items, including: – A clear mirror with residue that tested positive for methamphetamine – A clear bag with residue found on top of a dresser – Ammunition for a handgun/firearm, including hollow points, which Mixon is prohibited from possessing due to his probation status. Additionally, detectives discovered two motorcycles on the premises: – A black sports bike with a fictitious registration plate – A chrome and orange Suzuki Hayabusa with defaced vehicle identification number (VIN).
A horse trailer behind the garage contained a stolen 2015 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail, confirmed through its VIN. The Harley was stolen from the Clarksville, TN area. Anthony Mixon was taken into custody and charged with:
