September 28, 2024, Oak Grove, KY: Deputies made contact with 33-year-old Kody Blick of Cadiz, Ky at the Flying J Travel Plaza, located on Herndon Oak Grove Road.

During the encounter, it was discovered that Blick had two active warrants for his arrest for failure to appear, leading to his subsequent custody. Upon inquiry, Blick admitted to possessing “dope” in his wallet, later confirming it was methamphetamine. A search yielded an off-white crystalline substance, identified as crystal methamphetamine based on the Deputy’s narcotics training and experience. Blick was read his Miranda Rights and, under advisement, admitted to possessing methamphetamine. He is now facing charges for:
– Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
– Two active warrants for his arrest
Blick was transported to the Christian County Jail.
