Arrest Made: Fugitive and Sex Offender Registration Violation

September 26, 2024-Christian County, KY: On Thursday, deputies contacted 24-year-old Brandon Bynum of Jackson, TN at the Sleep Inn and Suites, located at 220 Auburn Street in Oak Grove.

Following an investigative detention, Bynum was found to have an outstanding felony warrant from Tennessee for violating probation related to robbery of a business. Further investigation revealed that Bynum, an absconded sex offender from Madison County, Tennessee, since April 1, 2024, had failed to comply with sex offender registration requirements. Bynum admitted to staying at the motel for about a week. Bynum now faces charges for:

– Fugitive from Another State – Warrant Required

– Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration (1st Offense)
