Narcotics Found in North Christian County Home

Sunday, February 11th, 2024-Christian County, KY: Deputies were attempting to locate a subject on a warrant and found methamphetamine in a home in North Christian County.

Christian County Sheriff's OfficeAt around 9:30pm Sunday night deputies were at a residence in the 16000 block of Dawson Rd. trying to locate a subject for warrants. While doing a protective sweep of the house, they observed in plain view possible narcotics and drug paraphernalia. A search warrant was obtained for the home, and methamphetamine was found in a bedroom belonging to 31-year-old Dustin Thomas of Crofton, KY, along with other items of drug paraphernalia throughout the home. The amount of methamphetamine found is consistent with trafficking and not personal use. 

Donnie Thomas

During the search, 62-year-old Donnie Thomas was also in the house and was arrested for several active warrants. Dustin Thomas was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Meth) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

Both subjects were transported to the Christian County Jail.
