ACU Arrests Hopkinsville Man During Probation Home Visit

Monday, January 8th, 2024, Hopkinsville, KY: Detectives with the Christian County Anti-Crime Unit (ACU) accompanied Probation & Parole on a home visit and arrested a man for drug and other charges Monday around noon. 

Detectives say they went to a home in the 15000 block of Old Bluff Springs Rd. with a Probation officer and made contact with a female juvenile and 21-year-old Hunter Phillips. Detectives searched the residence after consent was given by Phillips. In plain view was a black vase and straws with what appeared to have a white powdery residue on the outside. The powder field tested for methamphetamine.  Liquid THC and THC wax was found on the dresser in the bedroom along with 4 M30 pills containing fentanyl derivatives. 

The 16-year-old juvenile female at the residence told Detectives that Phillips was providing her with the THC wax. Her driver’s license was found on a plate on the dresser that had white residue on it. 

Phillips was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degre Carfentanil or Fentanyl Derivatives
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Unlawful Transaction with a Minor 2nd Degree

Phillips was transported to the Christian County Jail.
