December 30th, 2023 Lafayette, KY: Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Lafayette man for assaulting a female early Saturday morning.
According to a CCSO citation, Deputy Josh Strauch responded to a residence in the 100 block of White Street in Lafayette, KY after reports of an assault that took place. According to the document, the suspect, 23-year-old Steven White called and advised dispatchers that he had assaulted a female at the residence. Upon arrival, it was determined that White had struck the female and choked her, cutting off her airway.
White was arrested and charged with Assault 4th Degree Domestic Violence and Strangulation.
