Detectives with the CCSO Anti-Crime Unit (ACU) arrested an Oak Grove man for Trafficking in Narcotics and served a search warrant on his house. More illegal items were found in the residence.
According to charging documents, 34-year-old Evan M. Adams was taken into custody at the Probation & Parole Office yesterday morning (12/07) . After Evans was arrested, Detectives served a search warrant at his residence located in the 9000 block of Pembroke-Oak Grove Rd., Oak Grove, KY. During the search, several items were located to include cocaine, a Bottle of diazepam, a stolen handgun out of Dickson, TN, and another handgun found in the bedroom.
Adams is a convicted felon and not allowed to possess a handgun. Adams admitted to Detectives that he is selling cocaine to pay for his child support.
He was charged with the following:
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance (cocaine) x 2 Counts
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Trafficking in Legend Drugs 1st Degree
- Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon
The arrest was made after a 5-month long joint investigation between the ACU and the Fort Campbell Criminals Investigations Division (CID).
