September 29, 2023, Hopkinsville, KY: Detectives with the Christian County Anti-Crime Unit (ACU) assisted in serving warrants on a Crofton man Wednesday evening (09/27) and found illegal narcotics and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
According to a CCSO arrest citation, units were looking for 30-year-old Daniel McKinley in Crofton, KY who had outstanding warrants through Christian County. McKinley was located at a residence in the 100 block of South Madisonville Street in Crofton at around 5:30 pm. During McKinley’s arrest, detectives discovered a backpack that contained over 2 grams of methamphetamine, digital scales, multiple plastic baggies and two loaded syringes. McKinley claimed ownership of all items found.
McKinley was arrested and charged with the following:
- Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Meth)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Served with One Probation Violation Warrant and Two Failure to Appear Warrants
McKinley was transported to the Christian County Jail.
