On Monday morning at around 11:30 am, deputies attempted to stop a man for a traffic infraction that led to a pursuit and ultimately his arrest.
According to a CCSO arrest citation, Deputy Josh Stallons observed a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Eddie Juckett, whom Stallons knew had a suspended driver’s license. Juckett was also not wearing a seatbelt. Stallons initiated a traffic stop in the area of Madisonville Rd and Lake Blythe Rd. Juckett refused to stop and led deputies on a chase through North Christian County, breaking numerous traffic laws and running another vehicle off of the roadway. The vehicle was finally stopped in the 21000 block of Old Palestine Rd. after deputies utilized a rolling roadblock to box Juckett in, forcing him to stop. Juckett refused commands to exit the vehicle and was removed by law enforcement. Juckett stated to the deputies that he ran because he wanted to “get the vehicle back to his friend”.
Juckett was charged with numerous traffic charges, Wanton Endangerment 1st, Fleeing and Evading 1st Degree, Reckless Driving and resisting arrest.
Juckett was transported to the Christian County Jail.
