Christian County, KY-On April 22, 2025, at approximately 6:48 PM, a Christian County Sheriff’s deputy observed two vehicles backed into a wooded area near Carter Road and Barkers Mill Road. Upon approach, both vehicles fled at a high rate of speed, leading deputies on a pursuit into Clarksville, Tennessee.

Jordyn Purcell
Deputies pursued then first vehicle, driven by 23-year-old Jordyn Purcell, while a second vehicle fled separately. Purcell was eventually apprehended without further incident on Tiny Town Road in Clarksville. During the investigation, Purcell admitted to attempting to flee due to recent marijuana use and identified the second driver. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of marijuana, which was seized as evidence.
Purcell was taken into custody by deputies of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office while CCSO deputies sought warrants.
Arrest:
Purcell was extradited from Montgomery County and charged on April 25th, 2025, charged with Speeding, Reckless Driving, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Disregarding a Stop Sign, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana. Further arrests are expected.
