April 7th, 2025-CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY – A traffic stop conducted by a deputy with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office late Monday evening resulted in the arrest of a Hopkinsville woman for drug-related charges.

The stop occurred in the parking lot of the Flying J in Oak Grove and was initiated due to observed vehicle equipment and registration violations. During the encounter, information gathered by the deputy led to a consensual search of the vehicle and personal property.
As a result of the investigation, suspected fentanyl was located in the driver’s door pocket. 39-year-old Katherine B. Lamb was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.
Lamb was transported to the Christian County Jail.
