March 30th, 2025-CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY: A motorcyclist was arrested Sunday afternoon following a pursuit that reached speeds of up to 150 mph and endangered multiple motorists.

At approximately 2:20 PM, Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office attempted a traffic stop on a black Suzuki motorcycle after measuring its speed at 96 mph in a 45-mph zone on Fort Campbell Boulevard. The operator, later identified as 20-year-old Cody Dexter of Fort Campbell, refused to stop, initiating a pursuit spanning over 7 miles. During the pursuit, Dexter ran multiple red lights, made unsafe lane changes, and demonstrated reckless disregard for his passenger, who later stated she feared for her safety and urged him to stop. The driver eventually pulled over near the 8900 block of Fort Campbell Boulevard and was taken into custody without further incident.
Dexter was arrested, charged with Speeding, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment, Reckless Driving and other traffic related charges and transported to the Christian County Jail.
