March 9th, 2025, Christian County, KY – A routine traffic stop conducted by Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies on Sunday evening resulted in the arrest of a Hopkinsville man on multiple drug-related charges.
At approximately 6:00 PM, deputies observed a vehicle traveling in the West 7th Street area with occupants who were not wearing seatbelts. The vehicle was stopped near the Christian County Courthouse in downtown Hopkinsville.

Jordan Houchens
During the stop, deputies discovered a clear plastic bag containing methamphetamine and a shopping bag containing marijuana. The passenger, identified as 20-year-old Jordan S. Houchens, claimed ownership of the illegal substances and was taken into custody.
Houchens has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Failure to Wear Seatbelt
Following his arrest, Houchens was transported to the Christian County Jail.
