Christian County Sheriff’s Office Responds to Domestic Disturbance, Suspect Arrested

Christian County, KY – On the afternoon of Saturday, February 22, 2024, deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a domestic disturbance that led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville man.

At approximately 4:00 PM, deputies were alerted to a disturbance that initially began in Oak Grove, KY. Reports indicated that the individuals involved had left the scene before law enforcement arrived. With the assistance of the Hopkinsville Police Department, the victim was later located near Pembroke Road and the Bypass in Hopkinsville.

Based on information provided by the victim, deputies proceeded to an address in Pembroke, KY, where they made contact with 30-year-old Juanye Jones. Jones was taken into custody without incident and charged with the following offenses: Strangulation 1st Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment 1st Degree, Intimidating a Participant in a Legal Process, and Assault 4th Degree.

Jones was subsequently transported to the Christian County Jail.
