February 8th, 2025-Christian County, KY – A routine traffic stop in Christian County led to the arrest of Dover, TN man on drug-related charges late Saturday night.
On February 8, 2025, at approximately 10:16 PM, a deputy with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office observed a Honda Accord leaving the Days Inn on Auburn Street in Oak Grove, KY. The vehicle, driven by Charles A. Lee, 46, committed multiple traffic violations, including failing to use a turn signal and improper lane usage. Based on these infractions, the deputy initiated a traffic stop on Fort Campbell Boulevard.

During the stop, Lee provided his identification and vehicle documentation. After being advised of the reason for the stop, he consented to a search of his vehicle. Inside a black backpack, deputies located a black magnetic box containing a small baggie with an off-white crystalline substance. Based on training and experience, deputies identified the substance as crystal methamphetamine. Additionally, two cut straws and used foil—items commonly associated with drug use—were discovered in the vehicle.
After being read his Miranda Rights, Lee admitted to deputies that the substance was methamphetamine and confirmed that the straws and foil were used to ingest the drug.
Lee was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Christian County Jail, where he faces the following charges:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree (Methamphetamine)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Failure to Signal
- Improper Lane Usage
