Wednesday, January 22, 2025-Christian County, KY: The Christian County Sheriff’s Office has served a warrant on Randy L. Jones, 26, of Goodlettsville, TN, in connection with a robbery that occurred on November 23, 2022.

According to the warrant taken out by CCSO investigators, a passerby stopped to assist Jones, who was reportedly stranded on I-24 near mile marker 89. Jones allegedly shoved the Good Samaritan to the ground, stole her vehicle, and fled the scene. The stolen vehicle was later recovered in Nashville, but the contents, including a wallet, driver’s license, government credentials, laptops, clothing, debit and credit cards, a pet bird, and other belongings, were gone. Jones was arrested in Tennessee on unrelated charges and was transported to the Christian County Jail on January 22, 2025, to face charges of Robbery 2nd Degree.
