Wednesday, January 22, 2025-Oak Grove, KY: On Saturday at approximately 5:49 PM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2000 Dodge Durango at the Sleep Inn and Suites, located on Auburn Street in Oak Grove, KY.
The vehicle’s driver, 49-year-ol Fred Pullum of Elkville, IL, was found to have a suspended driver’s license and was operating the vehicle with false license plates, no registration receipt, and no proof of insurance. During the investigation, Pullum attempted to dispose of evidence, which led to the discovery of a methamphetamine pipe and a clear container containing crystal methamphetamine. A search of the vehicle revealed additional evidence, including fake urine and torch-style lighters commonly used by methamphetamine users. Pullum was arrested and charged with:
-Improper Registration Plate
-Failure of Non-Owner Operator to Maintain Required Insurance/Security
-No Registration Receipt
-Failure to Produce Insurance Card
-Operating on Suspended or Revoked Operator’s License
-Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
-Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess
Pullum was transported to the Christian County Jail.
