Hopkinsville Pair Arrested for Possessing Stolen Property, Trafficking in Narcotics

Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, Hopkinsville, KY – The Christian County Sheriff’s Office has successfully recovered stolen property and uncovered a stash of illegal narcotics following a burglary investigation.

On Thursday, deputies responded to a report of a burglary on Bradshaw Road, where the victim’s buildings were burglarized, with multiple items stolen totaling thousands of dollars. Through diligent investigation, including video evidence, deputies linked 37-year-old Joshua Craig and 36-year-old Courtney Roland, both of Hopkinsville, to the thefts.

A search warrant was executed at their residence in the 2000 block of Butler Road, where Craig and Roland were found. Deputies, with assistance from the CCSO Anti-Crime Unit, recovered most of the stolen items and discovered drug paraphernalia, marijuana, methamphetamine, Psylocibin mushrooms, and suspected fentanyl inside the residence. Craig and Roland were charged with:

– Receiving Stolen Property ($1,000-$10,000)
– Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Meth)
– Trafficking in Marijuana
– Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Drug Unspecified)
– Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Hallucinogen)

Both suspects were transported to the Christian County Jail.
