Wednesday, December 18th, 2024-Christian County, KY: At around 5:13 p.m., deputies responded to a report of trespassing at a property in the 1000 block of Wayne Elgin Road. The complainants reported that a vehicle, identified as a 2023 Jeep Gladiator with Florida tags, had caused approximately $5,000 in damage to their property.
Zachery Morris
The vehicle’s driver, 32-year-old Zachery Morris of Russellville, was later stopped by deputies at Max’s Fuel, located on Lafayette Road. Morris was found to have two outstanding traffic-related warrants and was taken into custody. During the investigation, Morris admitted to being the driver of the vehicle and stated that he had become lost in the wooded area behind Lake Morris. A warrant was obtained for Morris’s arrest, charging him with:
-Criminal Mischief, 1st Degree
Morris was transported to the Christian County Jail.
