ACU Executes Search Warrant, Arrests Two on Narcotics Charges

Thursday, December 5th, 2024-Hopkinsville, KY: On December 5, 2024, at approximately 10:00 a.m., the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Crime Unit and Detectives executed a search warrant at the residence of 51-year-old Kacey Brent Castile of Hopkinsville. Upon entering the residence, Castile was detained and found to be in possession of 14 grams of suspected methamphetamine. A search of the residence yielded additional evidence, including: – A homemade water bong – A smoked marijuana blunt – 2 grams of marijuana – United States Currency – A black digital scale used for weighing narcotics. Castile was charged with:
Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 2nd or > (methamphetamine)
– Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
– Possession of Marijuana.

Additionally, 50-year-old Wendy M. Thompson of Hopkinsville was found at the residence and charged with:
Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (methamphetamine)
– Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (drug unspecified)
– Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Both Castile and Thompson were taken into custody and are currently being held at the Christian County Jail.
