Tuesday, October 24th. 2024-Oak Grove, KY: Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop at around 1:45 am at the Exxon Mobile, located on Fort Campbell Boulevard. The stop was initiated after deputies observed a white pick-up truck with a Kentucky license plate affixed to the rear bumper, which upon further investigation revealed the plate belonged to a black GMC Sierra.
Upon contacting the occupants, 42-year-old Teddy Inman and a female, deputies detected the distinct odor of burnt marijuana emanating from within the vehicle. Inman had multiple outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants. He admitted to placing a false license plate on the truck and failing to register the vehicle.
A probable cause search yielded:
– Narcotics: crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, THC edible gummies, and prescription pills
– Drug Paraphernalia: methamphetamine pipe, marijuana bong, rolling papers, grinder, and hypodermic needles
Inman claimed ownership of the contraband and identified the substances. He was subsequently arrested and charged with:
– Improper Display of Registration Plates
– Failure to Register Transfer of Motor Vehicle
– Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess
– Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine)
– Prescription Controlled Substance Not in Proper Container
– Possession of Marijuana
Inman was transported to the Christian County Jail.
