Traffic Stop Leads to Multiple Charges

October 16, 2024- Oak Grove, KY: At approximately 1:00 am on October 16th, Christian County Deputies conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a GMC Envoy at the Days Inn, 212 Auburn Street in Oak Grove, KY. The stop was initiated due to suspected violation of parking in a handicap parking zone.

Lealand Sisco

Upon contact, the driver, 46-year-old Lealand Sisco, provided false identifying information multiple times despite being warned that providing false information to law enforcement is a crime. Further investigation revealed Sisco’s actual identity and that his driver’s license was revoked in Tennessee. A search of the vehicle uncovered: – Methamphetamine in a clear zip-loc baggie – A cut straw with drug residue – Additional zip-loc baggies containing methamphetamine residue.

A consensual search of Sisco’s Quality Inn room (#123) revealed more methamphetamine residue and debit/credit cards in his laptop bag.
Charges:
– Failure of Non-Owner Operator to Maintain Required Insurance/Security (1st Off) – Unauthorized Parking in a Handicapped Zone
– Giving Officer False Identifying Information
– Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess
– Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Off (Methamphetamine)
– Operating on Suspended or Revoked Operator License
Sisco was transported to the Christian County Jail.
