On 09/15/2024, Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a motorcycle for motor vehicle violations.
The passenger, 35-year-old Tara R. Henderson, was found to be in possession of a black book bag, which she initially claimed belonged to the driver. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Henderson had an outstanding warrant from Trigg County for Contempt of Court. She was arrested and the book bag was searched, revealing a black container with a clear glass pipe containing suspected methamphetamine residue, a small baggie containing suspected methamphetamine, and two straws.
Henderson claimed ownership of the container and its contents. She was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine)
Henderson was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
