Two Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges After Being Found Unresponsive in Vehicle

On July 31st, 2024, at approximately 4:30 pm, deputies from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch in the area of East Princeton Street and Crofton-Fruithill Rd. in Crofton, KY.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered two individuals, Joshua L. Scott (32) and Amber D. Crook (29), unconscious inside the vehicle. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) units were summoned and successfully revived both subjects at the scene. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded a significant quantity of drug-related items, including: – Methamphetamine – Synthetic marijuana (spice) – Suboxone strips – Other unidentified narcotics – Drug paraphernalia – US currency.

Both Scott and Crook were transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for medical clearance and later taken to the Christian County Jail, where they were charged with:

– Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree (Meth)

– Possession of Synthetic Drugs, 1st Offense

– Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

– Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Offense
