Saturday, February 10th, 2024-Hopkinsville, KY: Deputies stopped a vehicle early Saturday afternoon and the driver attempted to flee from the stop on foot.
Deputy Stallons stopped the vehicle at around 2:15pm in the area of East 13th and S. Clay Street. As Stallons was approaching, the driver, 31-year-old Tia Eagen, opened the door and began to flee on foot. She was apprehended moments later as she attempted to get in another vehicle close to the area. Eagan told deputies that she ran because she feared she had warrants.
Eagen was charged with Fleeing and Evading Police (On Foot) and transported to the Christian County Jail.
