Thursday, February 8th, 2024, Hopkinsville, KY: A Burglary that occurred in December of 2023 sparks investigation that has led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville man.
On December 18th, 2023, Deputies were dispatched to the City Salvage building on Greenville Rd. in reference to a possible burglary. Witnesses say they saw a green Mustang at the business dropping off a pair of individuals. K9 Deputy Suiter arrived at the location and observed the green Mustang as well. Security footage showed two individuals running past the building at around the same time the Deputies were called. Deputies attempted to locate the suspects but were unsuccessful that evening. Items in the vehicle left on the property led to the identity of a suspect and warrants were sought for Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree (On Foot), and Burglary 3rd. Copper wire remnants were also located inside.
On February 8th, 2024, 22-year-old Frederick Reeves was apprehended in Montgomery County, TN, and extradited back to Christian County Jail where the warrant was served.
