Monday, January 29th, 2024-Hopkinsville, KY: Detectives with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office recovered around 100 stolen license plates taken from the Clerk’s Office about a week earlier.
According to the arrest document, 37-year-old Bishop Brandon Howard was seen on security camera footage stealing license plates from the Christian County Clerk’s Office drop box located in front of the building on two different occasions. Howard was taken into custody on January 29th and admitted to detectives that he stole the license plates. He then gave the locations of the plates, and all were recovered.
Howard was charged with Theft of Mail Matter and Theft of Motor Vehicle Registration Plates.
