Tuesday, January 9th, 2024, Hopkinsville, KY: CCSO Deputies and Detectives accompanied Probation and Parole on a home visit Tuesday, after reports were received there may be drug activity at the home.
According to a CCSO citation, Units arrived at a home in the 4000 block of Greenville Rd. in Christian County and made contact with several subjects in the home. The charging document states that 47-year-old Curry Hopper was standing in the driveway. Deputies recognized him as having warrants, and he was taken into custody. Hopper had meth in his possession and was arrested and charged with Possession of Meth and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, along with felony warrants. A further search of the property led them to 42-year-old Shinaka Cooper, who was taken into custody after Deputies found her to be linked to a bottle that contained methamphetamine. Cooper was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
Also in the home, was 49-year-old Jason Laster. Laster was taken into custody for felony warrants.
All subjects were transported to the Christian County Jail.
