Thursday, December 28th, 2023, Crofton, KY: Deputies were called to a residence located in the 1000 block of Grapevine Rd. Thursday night in reference to a disturbance.
According to a citation, Deputy Jared Werner responded to the house and met with the caller who stated that 56-year-old Joseph Parrott entered his residence unlawfully with a knife. Caller explained that he tied a belt around a dog’s neck and waived a knife at the caller. He further stated that Parrott left in a pick-up truck a moment later.
Deputies were able to locate Parrott in a camper on the backside of the property and took him into custody. Parrott told deputies he was only trying to get his dog back.
He was arrested and charged with Burglary 1st Degree.
