Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office were searching for a suspect with multiple warrants in North Christian Saturday and recovered a stolen vehicle and made one arrest for meth possession.
According to an arrest citation from K9 Deputy Josh Strauch, units were out at a home in the 1600 block of Empire Road late Saturday night (07/29) looking for 27-year-old Blake Dakota Moore, who was wanted for several warrants. While at the residence, deputies were also trying to locate a stolen vehicle out of Madisonville, Ky. Deputies found the vehicle in the back of the property and discovered suspected methamphetamine on the dash. Moore was discovered in a nearby wood line a short time after.
Moore admitted to being in possession of the stolen vehicle and the meth. He was taken into custody and charged with Receiving Stolen Property (Auto), Possession of Meth and served with five Hopkins and Union County warrants.
