The Christian County Anti-Crime Unit (ACU) arrested three individuals in the last few days for charges including narcotics possession and parole violation.
On July 19th, Detectives with the ACU arrested 48-year-old Angelia Morris at a home off Crocket Street in Hopkinsville. Morris had an outstanding warrant for Criminal Abuse 1st Degree. Morris was also charged with Possession of Methamphetamine at the time of her arrest. Also located in the home was 43-year-old Laura Gilford who had outstanding warrants for Parole Violation and an indictment charging her with Acquiring Property from Income from Trafficking a Controlled Substance. The indictment stems from an investigation conducted by the ACU.
On July 21st, Detectives assisted the US Marshall’s Office in arresting 38-year-old Daren Treya from a home located in the 2000 block of Butler Rd. Treya had an outstanding warrant out of the New York Supreme Court for Distribution of Methamphetamine.
