Deputies and Detectives with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to the United Southern Bank in Crofton early Sunday morning (07/16), after receiving reports of an ATM being damaged and money stolen.
According to reports, at approximately 4:50 am Sunday, suspect(s) stole a pick-up truck from the Crofton area and used it to hook up to an ATM in front of United Southern Bank. The ATM was pulled off the pedestal and suspect(s) broke into the machine stealing an undisclosed amount of cash. The ATM and the stolen truck were both found at the scene when officers arrived. No arrests have been made; however, detectives are currently working to gather information and try to determine who is responsible for the crimes.
