Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Hopkinsville man after a brief pursuit stemming from a domestic call Sunday morning (04/23).
According to a CCSO citation, the Sheriff’s Office was called to a residence on Julien Rd. at approximately 6:00 am Sunday morning after receiving reports of a possible domestic situation. As deputies were responding to the residence, they received notification from dispatch that the suspect had left the scene. The suspect vehicle was observed traveling in the 6000 block of Julien Rd. The Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop the vehicle in that area. The driver of the vehicle, 36-year-old Jeremy Etheridge, refused to stop and led officers on a pursuit that ended back at the residence in question. Etheridge was taken into custody after it was determined that he allegedly struck the female at the residence in the face.
Etheridge was charged with the following and transported to the Christian County Jail:
- Domestic Assault 4th Degree
- Fleeing and Evading Police 1st Degree
- Disregarding Traffic Control Device
