Domestic Disturbance Ends in Foot Pursuit, Arrest

christian county sheriff's office kentuckyDeputies responded to a domestic disturbance Tuesday night (01/17) in Pembroke, KY that resulted in a foot pursuit and the arrest of a Hopkinsville man.

According to a CCSO arrest citation from Sgt. Scott Noisworthy, units were called to the Pembroke Minit Mart at around 7:00 pm for a report of a female that had been assaulted. Deputies made contact with the female in front of a building on Clara Drive. The female had been injured and advised deputies that she was in an altercation with 27-year-old Daquan Butler of Hopkinsville. Butler had fled the scene before deputies arrived. 

According to Sgt. Noisworthy, Butler came back to the scene sometime later and deputies were called to residence again. As the officers pulled up, Butler took off running into the wood line in the back of the property, behind the apartments. Deputies attempted to track Butler but were unsuccessful. A short time later, the female called dispatch again and stated Butler was back at the residence. Butler fled from Deputies again but was apprehended in the wood line a short time after fleeing a second time.  During his arrest, Butler was found to in possession of illegal narcotics. 

Butler was charged with the following:

  • Assault 4th Degree (domestic violence)
  • Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree (on foot)
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Disorderly Conduct
  • Possession of Marijuana

Butler was transported to the Christian County Jail.
