More Meth Found on Sunday Evening Traffic Stop

Christian County Sheriff's Office Drug ArrestDeputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle Sunday night (01/15) and arrested a female for drug charges.

According to a CCSO arrest citation, 40-year-old Lauvenia Webb was stopped by Dep. Kevin Quarles at around 9:30 pm for running a red light. Deputy Quarles ran a check on the vehicle and discovered the registration had been cancelled for no insurance. Deputy Suiter and his K9 Zico were called to the scene, and Zico indicated on the vehicle. A search yielded a Gabapentin pill not in a proper container, a small amount of marijuana and a rock of methamphetamine. Webb was arrested from the vehicle and placed in a CCSO cruiser, where she proceeded to kick the door and swear at officers on the scene. 

Webb was charged with the following:

  • Multiple Traffic Charges
  • Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Disorderly Conduct

Webb was transported to the Christian County Jail, where jail deputies located more contraband in her pocket.
