Meth, Other Drugs Found On Traffic Stop

christian county sheriff's office kentuckyDeputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested three people from Illinois Wednesday morning after a vehicle stop for traffic violations. 

According to CCSO arrest citations, Deputy Clevin Robinson observed a vehicle leaving the Huck’s Convenience Store in Crofton around 10:15 am Wednesday morning and noticed one of the occupants was not wearing a seatbelt. Robinson also observed the vehicle driving erratically heading north on Madisonville Rd. A traffic stop was made on the vehicle north of Crofton. During the stop, Deputy Robinson observed what appeared to be illegal contraband inside the vehicle in plain view. 

During the investigation a search of the vehicle was conducted. Deputies found methamphetamine, marijuana, synthetic drugs and drug paraphernalia. 

The driver, 34-year-old Carl Holloway of Danville, IL was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Synthetic Drugs, Possession of Paraphernalia, Careless Driving and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

One of the passengers, 36-year-old Christy Haskins of IL, was also arrested for Meth Possession, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Synthetic Drugs.

The other passenger, 31-year-old Jacob Charles Miller, also from IL, was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

Both Holloway and Miller attempted to ingest illegal narcotics in an attempt to hide them from the Deputies.
